Our Summer Surf Camps will run at 10am-12.30pm and 12pm- 2.30pm everyday, no matter the tide! 

Our Excellent Instructors will be there at all times to lend a hand!

If this option is unavailable, it may mean it is booked out.

WE PROVIDE EVERYTHING YOU NEED, but feel free to bring your own gear if you would like!

 You will need a towel and sun screen 'cause remember you are in the sunny southeast!!...but do remember to bring something warm for afterwards.

Example of 10am camp format:

10am Arrive at Oceanics Surf School @ The Red Cottage in Tramore in wetsuits and ready to go. Parents will be asked to fill in a registration form if you have not already completed one (just takes 5mins, not too detailed).

10am Those that are taking part in our surf camp will meet their instructors, camp mates and get their gear on

10:30am Grab the boards and get ready to go!

10:40am HIT THE WATER! 

12.10pm Leave the beach, head back to OCEANICS and get changed

12:30pm Pick up, excited for the next day!

Easter & Mid-Term Camps will be shorter at 2 hours long, starting at 10.30am

About our camps

A number of seasonal and after school clubs are run at various stages throughout the year. 

Our first children's camps started in the summer of 1999 and have continued to grow and develop into the highly successful camps that we run today. Our reputation of fun, level of care and safety is second to none.

A family run enterprise, Oceanics brings the experience of surfing to over 5,000 children a year through groups, school tours and surf camps. With the owner's backgrounds in cliff rescue, RNLI, lifeguarding and tourism along with a team of highly trained staff, the onus is on safely encouraging each person to experience the thrills of surfing in an environment of fun participation.

All our camps are not only educational but highly addictive! The camps are structured in such a way that a weekly booking is not necessary. 1 day, 3 day and 5 day rates are available.
